Will Smith recently appeared on Complex’s 360 With Speedy Morman, where the Oscar-winning actor shared some insightful thoughts.
During a broad conversation covering success, fame, money, and happiness, Speedy asked Will about the meaning of life. Will responded, “Even pondering the meaning of life is your mind grappling with the unknowable.“
Will then invited Speedy to join him in a 30-second period of quiet meditation. After the mediation, he advised Speedy to “look at you, while you’re looking at me,” mentioning that this is where one can discover the meaning of life. Will explained, “When you find peace with that, you’ve found the meaning of life.”
Will Smith’s interview with Speedy comes as he is gearing up to reunite with Martin Lawrence for the next installment in the Bad Boys series, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, scheduled for release on June 7.
The official trailer for the film was launched recently, showing the duo working together to clear the name of their late Captain Conrad Howard.
In addition to Smith and Lawrence, DJ Khaled will be part of the cast along with Vanessa Hudgens, Rhea Seehorn, Alexander Ludwig, Joe Pantoliano, Paola Nuñez, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, and more. Rapper Joyner Lucas is also anticipated to appear in an unspecified role.
