Taylor Swift made a special shout-out to Travis Kelce during her updated Eras tour in Europe. Even though Kelce couldn’t make it to the show because he was busy filming “Grotesquerie,” fans noticed a dance move dedicated to him.
During the song “So High School” from her latest album “The Tortured Poets Department,” Swift and her dancers did a dance move resembling what the Kansas City Chiefs do when they score a touchdown. This move was inspired by a viral video of Swift joining in on the celebration at one of Kelce’s games.
The performance also hinted that the song is about Travis, as the dance move coincided with the lyrics, “It’s true, swear, scout’s honor / You know what you wanted and, boy, you got her.”
Swift’s dancers even imitated some of Kelce’s touchdown dances, and the visuals on stage included football stadium lights, with flashing red and yellow lights at the end of the song as a nod to the Chiefs.
Additionally, Swift combined “So High School” with “But Daddy I Love Him,” leading fans to speculate that the latter song is also about Travis.
The setlist for the “The Tortured Poets Department” portion of the show included several new songs. Taylor’s performance of “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” featured her standing powerfully atop a moving platform.
Travis showed his support by commenting on a post from one of Taylor’s band members, expressing excitement for the show. Although he couldn’t make it to the first show in Paris, fans are eager to see if he attends any of the remaining performances.
Travis previously praised Taylor’s new music and appreciated the support of her fanbase, known as the Swifties, who have embraced the football world as well.
