Kathryn Dennis had a big breakdown in the back of a police car when she got arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) on Monday.
She got arrested after being involved in a three-car crash in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Police officers suspected she was drunk because they noticed her eyes were shiny and she smelled like alcohol.
After she did a sobriety test, police arrested her and put her in the back of a car. She told them, “You’re ruining my life and my kids’ lives — thanks for nothing.”
Kathryn, who has kids named Kensington and Saint with her ex Thomas Ravenel, later said, “It’s really messed up for you guys to just take people in because it could really affect their children’s lives. I don’t care about myself, just my kids. I shouldn’t be here at all.”
She accused them of treating her like an “animal,” and when an officer buckled her seat belt, she asked, “Why are you so close to me?” As he backed away, she yelled, “You are disgusting, you are gross, don’t touch me like that.”
The reality star broke down when she realized they were taking her dog to a shelter.
She yelled, “Don’t take my dog! No!” before crying and saying, “I want my puppy. Please let me have my puppy. He can’t go to the animal shelter — what do you mean? I want my dog. He means everything to me.”
Later, Dennis demanded they take her to jail, where she would stay until her release when she could “get my dog and leave.”
According to WCBD, Kathryn was arrested for a DUI and for having an open container in the vehicle. She was given a $1,475 bond. People reports she has a court date on June 4th.
