In January, Kensington Palace announced that she had undergone planned abdominal surgery and was in the hospital. The reason for the surgery wasn’t disclosed, but it was serious enough that the palace stated Kate wouldn’t be resuming public duties until after Easter, per medical advice.
The palace mentioned that they would give updates only when there was important news, but as time passed without many updates, fans started to get more concerned about Kate and how she was doing.

She recently posted her first photo on Instagram after the surgery.
Kate posted a picture with her kids – Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte – for Mother’s Day in the UK. In her message, she thanked fans for their support over the past two months. She wished everyone a Happy Mother’s Day
