Women are so smart! I always learn something new from them. Lately, some awesome women on Eviknord shared their daily routines that they learned from each other. I thought they were fantastic and wanted to pass them on to you! Here are some of the coolest tips :

- Having flowers in a vase is an easy way to make your home look nice. Don’t listen to anyone who says it’s a waste of money or too much work. We always have flowers around, and they make us smile every day!

- Inner Purse Idea : I was telling a co-worker about my situation, and she told me about an amazing little trick she loved, an “inner purse”! It’s a small bag that holds everything you always need and nothing you don’t; tissues, lip balm, Excedrin, some cash, and bandaids. It is just this small bag you can grab daily and toss into your purse that you happen to be using for that day. A lot of time saved in the morning and less digging through bags! They are also new and following neat clean organization which is the best part for finding the things. They get into organizing fancy things with pockets and what not but um, I found awesome bags all of cute bags in fun prints that I just loved.

- writing down notes : I saw a few women writing down things they’re thankful for every day, so I gave it a try almost two years ago. It’s amazing how much better I feel since I started!

- say something nice and positive : Every day (when I am at work; or shopping; or holding about with friends) I make a concerted effort to say something nice and positive to at least 1 woman. It takes no effort to make someone smile with a compliment and people really appreciate it!

- wet the walls with a towel and wipe the walls quickly : I just heard a wonderful tip about how one should maintain cleanliness in showers. This is something they said: they advised that after you shower, you should wet the walls with a towel and wipe the walls quickly. This will prevent that gross black and pink looking mold from coming back. My husband remembers that he himself had to clean the shower very often because the rubber gasket at the bottom of the tub was getting very black. However, it appears that variants of this only get black due to the fact that they are wet most of the time. I just instead of using the shower to wash myself, I use a towel and this leaves the seal look very white. There is only cleaning of the floor, which means simply scrubbing the floor and not wiping it with a rag (2006). Some of the suggestions include taking a few minutes each day to clean instead of waiting for the issue to worsen, as this saves a lot of effort when scrubbing the black mold. It may not be a concern in various areas, but where I reside, if you do not occasionally wash your car, you could find moss forming on it!

-keep your space nice and well-maintained : Over the holidays I went to visit my sister and saw that she would wake up and make her bed adding a scent to the room by covering the room with a sprays. I wanted to know why and she replied that it makes her feel good . It made me evaluate how I should work to ensure that my personal space is as clean and organize as the place I visit. I didn’t use to be messy before but now, I make sure my place is cozy and inviting for anyone, not just a place for people to come and sleep.

- great hair tip : My grandma gave me a great hair tip! She said wearing your hair in super tight ponytails all the time can pull on your hair at the front and make your hairline move back a bit.

- Showering at night! : A friend showers before bed, and I used to think morning showers were better. But after working from home, I tried it and never went back! Now I love taking a relaxing shower at night. It helps me wind down and sleep better, and no more shivering in the mornings during winter!

– Starting my day with some exercise: even a little bit, has been amazing! It took a few weeks to get used to waking up early for it, but now I actually enjoy that time in the morning all by myself.

– If you live alone try this : I live alone, and here’s a safety trick I use: When I leave or come home, I pretend to talk to someone like I have a roommate. This makes it seem like someone else is there, which can discourage anyone who might be following you. Also, if you ever feel like someone is following you, don’t turn on your lights right away when you get inside.
