Chris Hemsworth talked to Melvin Robert from “Extra” as he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Did he ever think about this when he was just starting his career?

He said, “It’s always a mix of dreaming big and feeling scared. It’s important to balance both. Sometimes fear pushes me, and my purpose pulls me forward.”

Standing on Hollywood Blvd., Chris remembered, “I used to drive down this street to auditions and imagine being here one day… But what I feel now, which I didn’t fully grasp back then, is a deep sense of gratitude for everyone who helped me reach this point. I share this moment with my family, friends, and colleagues.

Mel asked him, “Are you really the second-best Chris or the best Chris?”

He joked, “Oh, I’m probably the third or fourth. I really admire the other guys.”

Robert also asked if his three kids with wife Elsa Pataky understood what was happening today.

“Yeah, last night my daughter asked, ‘What are we doing tomorrow?’ and I said, ‘We’re going to a star ceremony.’ She said, ‘I thought we’re going to Six Flags?’ I said, ‘That’s the next day.’ She said, ‘Okay, cool.’”

He explained, “It keeps you down to earth. Sometimes they think, ‘Oh, that’s cool,’ and then it’s back to normal life, which is good.”

Hemsworth added, “Having them here is really special. We can all look back on this day one day and laugh and enjoy the moment.”
