Anne Hathaway went to the premiere of a movie called “The Idea of You” in New York City on Monday. The movie is about a 40-year-old single mom who falls in love with a famous 24-year-old boy band singer.
During an interview with “Extra,” Anne talked about her character getting criticized for dating a younger man, which she thinks reflects real life for women.
She also talked about her character being both vulnerable and strong, saying it’s great to find someone you can be open with.
Anne confessed she loves romance and even though she’s not a big fan of boy bands, she’ll dance to their songs.
At the SAG Awards, Anne reunited with her “Devil Wears Prada” co-stars, but she doesn’t think there will be a sequel.
Nicholas Galitzine, who plays Anne’s love interest, talked about their chemistry and how it helped their performances.
He also mentioned that the movie inspired him to think about making his own music.
“The Idea of You” will be on Prime Video on May 2.
