Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are selling their Los Angeles home while dealing with marital issues, a source tells Us Weekly. The $60 million mansion, bought in 2023, is being shown to buyers even though it’s not publicly listed. TMZ reported the news first.
The 38,000 square-foot home sits on five acres and features 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 12-car garage, a pool, and a sports complex with basketball and pickleball courts, a gym, and a boxing ring.
News of the home sale comes shortly after Lopez, 54, canceled her This Is Me … Live tour last month. The announcement, made through Live Nation and her fan newsletter, said Lopez is taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.
Lopez expressed her feelings in the email, writing, “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if it wasn’t absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time …”
A few days after canceling her tour, Lopez thanked her fans for making her Netflix movie Atlas reach No. 1 worldwide.
“There may seem to be a lot of negativity out in the world right now…but don’t let the voices of a few drown out that there is soooo much love out there,” she wrote in a June “On The JLo” newsletter. “Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I love you all so much.”
In May, rumors surfaced that Lopez and Affleck, 51, were having problems. Us Weekly later reported that Affleck had moved out of their Beverly Hills home “several weeks” earlier. Neither Affleck nor Lopez have publicly commented on the move.
They started having problems a few months ago when Jen increased her work commitments and prepared for her tour,” a source told Us Weekly. “Jen is very focused on work. They are often on completely different pages.
Besides her tour, Lopez has been busy with various projects this year, including her movies This Is Me… Now: A Love Story and Atlas, as well as her Amazon documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which features Affleck.
Despite rumors of marital issues, they have been seen together several times, such as driving around L.A. and attending Affleck’s daughter Violet’s high school graduation party.
