Angelina Jolie has made new accusations against Brad Pitt, alleging that he had been physically aggressive towards her before the airplane incident that led to their marriage ending. However, there are conflicting accounts of the situation. In legal documents, Angelina’s lawyers accused Brad of physically abusing her before their September 2016 airplane incident, which Angelina claims involved Brad harming their child.
Brad has denied Angelina Jolie’s accusations, and authorities have found no wrongdoing on his part. Nonetheless, Angelina continues to claim that he was physically aggressive towards her before their plane incident in 2016 and even allegedly turned physically abusive towards their children during that trip. This reportedly led Angelina to leave him immediately.
While Angelina’s lawyers have not provided details of the alleged pre-2016 incidents, they suggest that more information exists. The matter has come up due to a legal motion in the winery case that Angelina and Brad are still involved in. Brad is suing Angelina for attempting to sell her shares of their winery, Château Miraval, to a third party.
Angelina’s legal team filed a motion seeking Brad’s camp to provide communications that support her stance. They argue that Brad has tried to restrict Angelina through a revised NDA to prevent her from sharing potentially harmful information. On the other hand, Brad’s side claims Angelina was the one who requested a broadened NDA to address their custody dispute.
Sources close to Brad argue that Angelina is spreading false and misleading information to sway public opinion, a tactic they say she often uses when outcomes don’t align with her wishes. They point out that family court litigation already resulted in a 50/50 custody ruling, implying that the abuse claims hold no merit.
Regarding the NDA, Brad’s team reportedly proposed a more focused agreement centered on business matters, with claims that Angelina pushed for a broader NDA. Brad dismisses Angelina’s claims as baseless and maintains that the legal battles are far from over. Brad has not responded to these recent developments.
