50 Cent is using Instagram to share about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal issues.
In one post, he appeared to mention his ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy, who is the mother of his 12-year-old son Sire.
Joy was mentioned as a sex worker in a lawsuit involving Sean “Diddy” Combs, a claim she has refuted.
According to Us Weekly, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones sued Diddy in February, stating that Joy was one of three women Diddy had hired as sex workers previously.
Joy responded on Instagram Stories, saying, “I am very upset by the false accusations in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit. The statement that I am a sex worker is completely untrue and damaging to my reputation. I am getting a lawyer to consider legal action against both Rodney and his attorney.”
50 Cent and Joy were in a relationship from 2011 to 2012 but broke up after having their son Sire.
The rapper shared pictures on Instagram of himself smoking a cigar, with a caption that said, “I didn’t know you was a sex worker, 👀 you little sex worker. LOL 😆 Yo this s–t is a movie.”
In response, Joy wrote on Instagram Stories, “You find everything funny until it affects our safety, which is happening now. You are causing real trouble, confusion, and chaos in people’s lives.”
She criticized him for his role as a father, mentioning that he had only visited their son 10 times in two years, despite living close by.
Earlier, he shared a screenshot from Fox News showing part of Jones’ lawsuit alleging that Diddy had hidden cameras throughout his home and had compromising footage from his parties.
In his post, 50 Cent mentioned, “Shaking my head, this is going to be interesting. I bet I’ll get those tapes. I’m willing to pay a lot for them. Have you been there? I don’t attend Puffy’s parties.”
According to a source from Us Weekly, with the recent news about Daphne Joy’s connection to the Diddy lawsuit, 50 Cent is aiming for full custody of his son.
Following Lil Rod’s lawsuit, Diddy’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, told Us magazine, “Lil Rod is simply a liar seeking a $30-million payout unjustly. His false claims about events that never occurred are merely a ploy for attention. We have solid evidence proving his allegations are untrue and will take legal action against him.”
On Monday, Diddy’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami were searched by Homeland Security. Officials informed TMZ that the searches were part of an ongoing investigation coordinated by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York, with support from HSI Los Angeles and HSI Miami, along with local law enforcement partners. Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
FOX 11 reported that the searches may be linked to a sex trafficking inquiry.
Diddy’s legal representatives, as reported by “Extra,” clarified that despite the unexpected searches at Diddy’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami, Diddy and his family members have not been taken into custody.
